Meet our principals: 

Mirko Blesich

Mirko attended the University of Southern California on a basketball scholarship and received his B.S. in Finance and Investments upon graduation.  He also has a B.S. in Real Estate from Arizona State University and attended the Graduate School of Business at Indiana University.  Mirko  received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army active service in 1972.

Working as Director of Property Management for a major real estate company in Chicago, Mirko was responsible for the leasing and management of over 1 million square feet of office and retail space.

Mirko then became the Director of Property Management; Midwest United States for Xerox Corporation.  He was responsible for site selections, relocations, lease negotiations, design support and construction management.

Since leaving Xerox, Mirko has become the President of his own commercial property management and brokerage firm, President of a real estate development firm that successfully constructed over 140 Northwest Indiana homes, President of Municipal Real Estate Services which specializes in public sector real estate and property tax consulting. In 2005, he became co-founder and a Principal of Commercial Property Tax Advisor's.

Mirko has raised three children and resides in St. John, Indiana.

Bob Kumpfer

After attending Southern Illinois University, Bob found an interest in real estate appraisal and Indiana assessment theory.  After pursuing his Indiana Assessor-Appraiser certification in 1991, Bob was offered a position at a large Indiana consulting firm.  After 4 years there, Bob had become the Head of Real Property Taxation and managed the tax staff in Merrillville, South Bend, Indianapolis, and Evansville.  In addition to these duties, Bob personally filed and negotiated tax appeals that saved his clients over $6.4 million.

In 1996, Bob was sub-contracted by Appraisal Research Corporation as part of a team hired to co-author Regulation 17, Indiana's assessment guidelines, which were used to assess all Indiana real property in 1999.

After project completion, Bob became vice-president of GK Tax Group, a firm specializing in personal income tax planning and preparation, and of course real and personal property tax appeal services.  Eventually he became the president and sole principal of Axiom Consulting, Inc., a firm that focused solely on real and personal property tax appeals.  In 2005, he became co-founder and a principal of Commercial Property Tax Advisor's with a goal to provide the best property tax appeal services in Indiana.

Bob is married with two children and resides in Chesterton, Indiana
