CPTA will assign a tax specialist to meet with you and retrieve your personal property tax returns and fixed asset ledgers.
We complete a detailed reconciliation of your fixed assets to the tax returns to determine if you qualify for any additional exemptions, depreciation or reclassification of assets. We also analyze your machinery and equipment for abnormal depreciation that you may be entitled to. We are very effective in streamlining personal property returns.
Once the review is completed, we will meet with you and provide a detailed recommendation of what changes we advise. After your approval, we begin the appeal process.
